Scott Cao Cultural Heritage Foundation helps dream blind violin player Ming Kong

Recently, Scott Cao Cultural Heritage Foundation received a request from Ming Kong, a Chinese student studying in the United States and also a music player. He hopes to get support from Scott Cao cultural heritage foundation to help him realize his music dream.

At the age of 11, Ming Kong joined the China Disabled People's Art Troupe and began to perform in different cities and countries. So far, he has performed in more than 40 countries. In addition to violin, he can also play Jinghu, erhu, double cello, electric bass, piano and other musical instruments and reach professional standards. Ming Kong comes from an ordinary family in China. His parents are farmers. At the age of 7, he first studied Jinghu and came into contact with music, which made him see the passion and hope of life again. In order to pursue his dream, become a famous musician and music professor, and help and support other blind people to learn music, in 2019, he came to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to study.

Ming Kong not only wants to change his life, but also to bring more opportunities to others. He hopes to provide support and education to people in a similar situation. Let other blind people see that blind people can not only engage in massage, operator and other work, they can also have more choices, let the blind out of their narrow circle, help the blind better communicate and integrate with the mainstream world, and make the world a better place.

On June 15, Mr. Scott Cao, the Honorary Lifetime Chairman of Scott Cao cultural heritage foundation, donated $1000 to Ming Kong on behalf of the foundation. We hope this love will better accompany him to participate in violin competitions, solo concerts, summer camps, and future music roads.
